Crazy 4 Cult 5
Crazy 4 Cult is an art show put on by Gallery 1988 in LA. It features art inspired from all the 80′s cult foolishness that destroyed so many young minds. Video games were destroying brain cells too, so a few game-related pieces always make it into the show. This year, they had a few notable ones, so they are getting posted here today.

The Little Shop of Horrors plant plays her (his?) role as a Piranha Plant in “Attack of Audrey 2″ by Brandon Sopinsky

Those foolish Mario Brothers

N.C. Winters’ “Try Again” shows a great vision of Ramona Flowers.

The detail N.C. uses is always amazing.

Jim Horwat’s “Scott Pilgrim vs the World”

Todd Slater specializes in poster-style prints as seen in “Occasional Acid Flashback”. This image of The Dude is composed of pixelated imagery.

Artists Marcellus, Andrew, and Raph make sure the good art gets a proper once over.

show was dope!
You guys should run your own show…”ARTISTS OBSERVING ART”
It was a great show. Andrew’s piece was bad ass. Another one of my favorites from the show was a piece showing the seating chart for The Breakfast Club. Good stuff!
I approve of this posting.
@ Andrew K. – hahaha, that should be pretty fun. Get a few drinks in the system and talk shit ; )
