So I’m rolling through Facebook, and my friend, Egan, posts some music that he claims is awesome. He knows what the hell he’s talking about, so I took a listen. I figured it would be some viral business, but I wasn’t expecting it to be this good.

And then there’s the Super Space Invaders song, also from Eisenfunk’s 8bit album. I almost didn’t post this video because it’s corny as hell, but since they go all the way with it, I’ll give them props for that. In fact, I think there’s a scene of some sort of Space Invader Raindance reference at around 2:10.

After listening to a few of Eisenfunk’s songs, they definitely have an 8bit sound, but with this album, they’re cashing in on the old-school fanfare completely. I respect that. They’re not even American and they know a good old American cash-in opportunity when they see it.
