Simon Cottee has put together a short documentary on pixel art  that deserves  There’s some good stuff in here, and some interesting bits. I’m glad someone is looking at the background of this style with somewhat discriminating eyes. Some decent questions are raised here, such as, is this the current day version of Minimalism or other forms of art that tend to simplify?

Sadly, when I watch this, I feel like the vibe isn’t really growing or going anywhere. Hopefully, this can be taken past the fad level. So for the love of all that is good, PLEASE make better art and stay away from the kitchsy crap.
