Artist / Designer Hollis Brown Thornton does a few different types of art, but it’s obvious to tell that he has played a video game or two. I don’t know, they could have been Atari games, possibly. The important thing is that his works contain his view of things. You don’t get too much originality happening now, especially when it relates to video game subject matter. I blame the Internet. Too many people are looking at DeviantArt or trying to get a job at Valve to do anything good.

Here are a few images from Hollis Brown that show a small bit of his range. The first three images below are done with permanent marker on paper, and the last is a computer sketch. I don’t know where he gets his ideas from, but it just might be that he’s high off Sharpie fumes.
